Things seem to be going well. Drew is going this afternoon to try to get some things straightened up around the house for his Granny. Apparently friends and family have them stocked like crazy with food, so she won't have to cook for a long time. He and his brother are going to clean up some brush that their Pop didn't get to. They are also trying to figure out what to do with his hunting dogs and quail left over from the business... I don't know if they are going to clean them and just freeze them or if they will sell them. Either way, I'm sure that I will be eating a lot of quail in the near future.

The funeral arrangements are being discussed this morning and we are still waiting for word from Good Ole Uncle Sam to figure out if Drew's bro can stay for all of that. I think that they have to because he is the only heir that is not otherwise incapacitated. It would be really lame for them to send him back to Afghanistan right now. Keeping our fingers crossed and praying to whatever God may be out there...

So anywhoo.. Thanks for the message and the post. We have the best friends that anyone could ask for. I'm thinking that keeping busy with all of the plans will be helpful for Drew... And it will give me some time to work on finals and papers.. Thank goodness the semester is coming to a close!
